Tri-flex is a high risk versatile mattress for use in all healthcare environments. Cost effective and easy to use, it is particularly suitable for palliative care and nursing homes. The ingenious design allows for complete freedom in positioning.

With Tri-flex, there is no need to change to a different mattress to achieve an alternative clinical outcome or fulfill a special requirement. Simple adaptations will transform its shape to suit the positioning needs of the individual.

Interface pressures can be minimised in those areas requiring protection, by adjusting the shape of the mattress surfaces to take into consideration, height, weight and additional health factors, eg. Oedema, pressure sores or other ulcerations.

Tri-flex wedges can be used at the ends or sides of the mattress. By unzipping the three layers, the wedges can be inserted at different levels in the mattress to create increased or decreased angles, for finer changes in positioning according to individual needs.

The High Risk cushion is covered in a two-way stretch vapour permeable fabric vital to improve pressure reduction as the give in the fabric complements the foams and special gel section beneath. The fire retardant foam has recovery qualities that allows the cushion to recover its shape as soon as loading is released.

The Superflex VE SX32 is a high risk cushion and is made with CMHR and viscose elastic foams. The Superflex SX11 is a medium to low risk cushion made from CMHR foam. All cushions have a two-way stretch vapour permeable fabric that is vital to improve pressure reduction as the give in the fabric complements the foams beneath. The cushion covers are zipped and made of a PU coated, 2 way stretch fabric, that is vapour permeable and waterproof.
